The Client Manager builds relationship with major clients on behalf of Borton-Lawson and serves as the primary point of contact for these clients. The position will coordinate services across multiple disciplines and BL locations ensuring client satisfaction and expansion of business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops positive business relationships with key clients through professional interaction and enhanced service delivery.
Identifies potential business opportunities while communicating service options to specific clients.
Identifies needs for service/delivery issues, determines problem resolution strategies, and works with all levels of the organization to resolve clients’ major business issues with the services Borton-Lawson offers.
Determines the need for coordination of efforts with other team members to ensure timely quality of technical service to Borton-Lawson clients.
Ensures that problems are handled in a timely manner.
Partners effectively with other persons within the Borton-Lawson organization to ensure effective and efficient operations and to resolve issues that may occur.
Provides recommendation to management for the development of processes, policies and procedures to deliver client requests.
Corresponds both orally and in writing with internal and external parties.
Education/ Experience:
B.S. degree, preferably in an Engineering Discipline. 5-10 years experience dealing with client requests/concerns.
Must have ability to communicate and understand technical details concerns.
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively with project teams and clients.
Must have demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize multiple projects.
Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with a variety of cross-functional areas within Borton-Lawson.
Demonstrated creditability with clients as well as senior level organizational personnel.
Anticipated Working Conditions:
Work involves heavy client interactions at both business locations, professional meetings, conferences and seminars. Travel and interactions after standard business will be required.
