We offer full-service Construction Services including construction administration, on-site representation, and Design/Build Services whether it be for your new office building, expansion or renovation, or three-span bridge.

Our services for the Construction Administration stage of the project encompass shop drawing review, preparation of change orders as directed by the owner, preparation and issuance of field orders for minor changes, review and recommendation for approval of contractor’s monthly and final payment requisitions, scheduling and conducting progress meetings, scheduling of on-site visits and observation, assembly and delivery of warranties and operating manuals as provided by manufacturers and contractors, participation in the testing of all utilities, operational systems and equipment, punch list review, as-built drawings, and the analysis and recommendations regarding any claim presented by the contractor to the owner. 

We are proud of our reputation and ability to produce technically excellent and professional contract documents.  During the Construction Document phase, we prepare drawings and specifications as required for all approvals including utility construction approval, storm water management, soil erosion and sediment control, road improvements, building code review, fire marshal review, HVAC, electrical construction and site grading and the storage building.  Because of the attentiveness to detail included in our contract documents, most of our projects have been built with minimal change orders.

Borton-Lawson will oversee the bidding process, the selection of a contractor, and the review the progress of the work. The teamwork that we naturally develop between the client, the contractor and the design team helps the decision making during the construction and bidding process a smooth operation. We ensure our construction documents are precise before permits are requested.
