• Develops engineered solutions to various manufacturing and support processes involving fluid flow, combustion, heat transfer, material handling and energy management.
• Assist drafters in developing project designs using drafting tools or computer-assisted design (CAD) or drafting equipment and software.
• Evaluate customer requests for proposals, to evaluate the feasibility, and cost,  of designs or applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Provide feedback to design engineers on client problems and needs.
• Conduct research that analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of potential design solutions, including equipment, components and systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university plus five years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in estimating Engineering and Construction costs, developing project scopes, reading blueprints, writing proposals, writing technical reports, performing engineering studies is preferred.
