Freeland Borough Engineering, Freeland, PA
Performed analysis and/or design for various projects including the Master Plan for the Sanitary Sewer System, Inflow/Infiltration Study on Sanitary Sewer Systems, and an Official Sewage Plan (Act 537), as well as implementing a Lead and Copper testing program and developing a new well source for public water supply. Prepared contract documents to clean two 100,000 gallon anaerobic digesters at a .750 mgd trickling filter plant; the method of bidding and inspection reduced the overall cost to the Authority by approximately 40%.

Penn Ridge

Pennridge Water Resources Plan
Borton-Lawson developed a comprehensive water resources plan for eight municipalities in Bucks County known as the Pennridge area. Our watershed assessment provided a basis of information upon which to establish a long-range plan for restoring and protecting the water resources on the study area. This plan addressed the impacts and threats of nonpoint source pollution in an area where there is a looming threat of the conversion of the natural environment to the built environment.
