Carl McGloughlin is always looking for ways to grow and expand the Borton-Lawson brand.
As the Lehigh Valley Service Leader in Highway Infrastructure, McGloughlin is charged with overseeing and focusing on projects and opportunities in the Lehigh Valley Region, which includes PennDOT District 5-0, Northampton and Lehigh Counties.
And while Borton-Lawson has a strong reputation in this region, McGloughlin and his team are consistently looking for ways to grow the company’s brand and service offerings.
“We have worked hard to gain a strong reputation amongst our clients in the Lehigh Valley,” said McGloughlin. “We now have the exciting challenge and opportunity to build on that reputation to win larger scale projects, such as highway interchanges and bridges of regional importance.”
As well as managing the projects and proposals in this region, Mr. McGloughlin also works to expand the geographic locations of the firm’s service offerings.
“I am constantly looking for opportunities to effectively grow and market our services further southeast into the Philadelphia region,” he said.
McGloughlin began his career at Borton-Lawson in 2011 as a bridge engineer before his promotion to a project manager. In 2013 he was promoted to his current role. He is also the President of the East Penn Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) and serves on the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee.
