Welcome to the Borton-Lawson Blog. Your sources for articles, insights, trends and advancements that are shaping our industries.
Employees of Borton-Lawson’s Lehigh Valley office are participating in CANstruction, an event that provides canned food items to local food banks within the cities holding the competitions. Architects, engineers, contractors and students from throughout the region will compete to design and build giant structures made entirely from full cans of food.
You can help our employees raise the $5,000 needed to help purchase the canned goods needed for the event here.
Donations will be accepted through September 15th. Any remaining money along with the total of the cans will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank in Nazareth, PA.
The theme for this year is Lehigh Valley Heritage and will feature CANstructions that depict an important person, place, event, or culture that has built the history of our region. Borton-Lawson will be competing in this event and constructing the Liberty Bell out of cans. These displays will be on display to the public, featured prominently throughout the Lehigh Valley Mall.
Thank you for helping our employees support the Second Harvest Food Bank.
