Borton-Lawson’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Christopher L. Borton, P.E., was honored this year with the Distinguished Award of Merit by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) for his continuous excellence in the engineering consulting industry and unwavering commitment to community service.
Mr. Borton’s talent and capacity to turn his vision of “leveraging technology to create a firm that was both successful and sustainable” into a reality has truly exemplified what can be accomplished through brilliant leadership. Not only has he propelled the company to become an award winning business, he has set an example for future leaders to follow. Mr. Borton has generously given back to his community by serving on committees and boards for several organizations such as the United Way, the Wyoming Rotary Club, Penn State Wilke-Barre, the Holy Name/St. Mary’s Church, and Misericordia University, just to name a few.
