Borton-Lawson is proud to announce the expansion and new core mission of our sister company, Precise Visual Technologies (PVT). The company, which began offering reality capture services in 2017, has grown significantly into a comprehensive technology and business consulting group that focuses on operational optimization through digital transformation.

This expansion is the result of significant client and market demand to expand beyond traditional engineering services. Technological disruption is here to stay and it will continue to change how businesses operate.  The need to digitally simulate, diagnose and predict events before they occur will be critical for businesses to remain competitive and sustainable long term.

PVT’s goal is to prepare clients to operate in a business environment that is technologically advanced and digitally connected. Our Innovation Advisors will partner with an organization’s executive leadership, technology, project management and operations teams to onboard and navigate the Digital Transformation Curve©.

The companies that leverage technology to receive the highest returns are driven by executive leaders who understand that an innovative culture is critical to growth and even survival.

“PVT’s expanded focus is part of a long term, strategic evolution for our organization,” Borton-Lawson and PVT CEO, Frank Joanlanne said. “Technology has been a major differentiator for our clients over the last several years. PVT enables us to extend our engineering capabilities by developing innovative solutions leveraging technology.”

PVT will continue to assist clients by optimizing operations through the strategic implementation of visual and virtual tools. PVT is committed to delivering a quantifiable Return on Digital Investment (RODI) by assisting our clients to navigate the ever-expanding horizon of technology solutions for their businesses.

Our focus on Planning & Design, Facility & Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance solutions allows our clients to bridge the digital divide in a disciplined, easy-to-understand manner.

PVT’s customizable process includes digital transformation consulting agreements, optimization solutions and implementation services. Driving the consulting process is a Digital Transformation Curve Assessment (DTCA) tool, engineered by the PVT team, to help determine a client’s digital technology maturity level.

The DTCA, focusing on nine assessment categories, creates a comprehensive current state of a client’s digital strategy and allows the PVT team to develop a customized technology roadmap including specific initiatives to drive measureable RODI.

“We were fortunate that we were already making this shift towards virtualization and digitization years before COVID-19,” Joanlanne said. “Our strategy of making significant investments in new digital resources for our clients has remained unaltered during the current crisis.  We realize our clients, more than ever, need partners to help them navigate the Digital Transformation Curve during this “new normal” and we are thrilled to see our clients derive the benefits of a strategic approach to digital transformation.”
